Trucking Roots
Yamil didn't stumble into trucking — he was raised in it. Growing up in a family that lived and breathed the industry, he saw everything firsthand: the razor-thin margins, the constant chaos, the volatility that could wipe out a year's work in a single bad quarter.
But he also saw something else — an industry full of hardworking people being failed by outdated systems. Dispatchers drowning in spreadsheets. Owners making million-dollar decisions on gut feel. Investors with no visibility into their own assets. The gap between how trucking operated and how it could operate was enormous.
Identifying the Problem
The trucking industry wasn't broken because people weren't working hard enough. It was broken because every company was rebuilding the same fragmented infrastructure from scratch — cobbling together a TMS here, a compliance tool there, hoping the pieces would hold together.
There was no unified digital backbone. No system that connected dispatch, maintenance, compliance, driver management, and financial planning into a single platform. Yamil realized the industry didn't just need better tools — it needed an entirely new operating model.
