Co-Founder & CPO, MorPro Inc.
From pre-med to scaling unicorn startups, Zee brings relentless product discipline and a combat-sports mindset to everything MorPro builds. As CPO, he leads the product vision for an entire ecosystem of trucking technology.
From Pre-Med to Product
Zee started at Hunter College on a pre-med track — the kind of path that looks great on paper but didn't match the fire inside. He was drawn to building things, not memorizing textbooks. So he made the call that most people talk about but never actually make: he left school to go all-in on startups.
It wasn't a reckless leap. It was a calculated bet on himself. He'd seen how technology could reshape entire industries, and he wanted to be on the building side of that equation — not watching from the sidelines.
Scaling Unicorns
That bet paid off. Zee joined a high-growth startup early and helped scale it to unicorn status. He wasn't in a support role — he was in the trenches, launching multi-million dollar initiatives, shipping product at speed, and learning what it actually takes to build something that works at scale.
The experience taught him the difference between products that look good in a pitch deck and products that survive contact with real users. He developed an instinct for cutting through complexity, finding the core problem, and shipping solutions that people actually use.
Co-Founding MorPro
When Yamil approached him about MorPro, Zee saw the same pattern he'd seen in every industry ripe for disruption: massive market, fragmented tools, operators drowning in manual processes. The trucking industry wasn't just underserved by technology — it had been ignored by it.
As CPO, Zee leads product for the entire MorPro platform — from the Trucking-as-a-Service investor experience to the AI-powered dispatch tools that carriers use daily. His approach is grit-driven: ship fast, listen to users, iterate relentlessly. No feature survives without proving its value in the real world.
Combat Sports & Philosophy
Outside of MorPro, Zee is a serious combat sports practitioner. Wrestling shaped his approach to everything — discipline over talent, composure under pressure, mastering fundamentals before attempting anything flashy.
That wrestling mindset shows up in how he builds product. No shortcuts. No skipping steps. Grind the basics until they're second nature, then build on top of a foundation that doesn't crack. It's the same philosophy that makes MorPro's platform reliable when other tools fall apart under pressure.
